Brown seaweeds are rich in carotenoids and fucoxanthin that are responsible for their brown colour, brown seaweeds do not bleach in the sun, fucoxanthin protects against oxygen free-radical damage, a major cause of disease and aging, wrinkling. Fucoxanthin has 13.5X more activity than vitamin E in tests.
One of the group of seaweeds that produce a skin conditioning effect when included with cosmetics, which deposits materials on the skin surface that increase suppleness and reduce flaking thereby help to maintain the skin in good condition.
Fucoidans present a number of important potential cosmetic benefits, they are thought to help protect against sun damage, slow collagen breakdown in the skin and also increase collagen synthesis.
Contains fucoidan 8%, laminarin 7%, and mannitol 7%, fucoxanthin, vitamin E and is rich in alginates 28%.
